The manufacture of the rod using high strength square tube

Rod R4023 sprayer are manufactured using high strength square tube.

The bar consists of a durable three-dimensional designs. This design makes the rod more resistant to lateral loads under the influence of inertia forces during the movement, stop and reverse, and twisting loads caused by folding and unfolding the boom.

Piping and nozzles are installed between the top and inner side of the two lower pipes of square section rod design. Thus, eliminating the possibility of damage to the buildings of the nozzles or of a violation of the pattern of spraying due to ingress of foreign objects.

Rod model R4023 has a length of 18.3/24,4 m. If you fold the outer sections, the rod length decreases from 24.4 m to 18.3 m. Folded the outer sections rely on the supports so that they remain on your site during spraying using shortened to 18.3 m rod on uneven ground.

The R4023 sprayer’s boom consists of five sections:

  • The Central section of 3.1 m
  • Two internal sections of 7.6 m on each side
  • The two outer sections of 3.1 m with sections of the emergency folding a length of 1.8 m on each side

The displacement of the rod ends helps the operator to protect the bar from damage in case of an unexpected collision with an obstacle. The design of the latter sections are designed so that an emergency fold is not activated during operation in the normal mode, but as soon as the post hits an obstacle, its last section is formed to avoid serious damage.

All the last sections of the door fold with a spring return to its original position, and then back to the spraying position.

In the folded position a large part of the rod rests on the transport support machine, so the load is distributed evenly.

Folded into the transport position rods located on the supports, maximizing the visibility from any side of the sprayer. The folding rods in the horizontal plane increases visibility and does not affect the overall height of the sprayer.

Optimal weight distribution means operator can leave early in the field

The optimum weight distribution leads to a lower mass per unit contact area, and consequently, reducing soil compaction and damage to fields, allowing the operator to leave early in the field. The R4023 sprayer was designed with optimum weight distribution.

In suspension design R4023 sprayer uses a system of four trailing arms, air springs and shock absorber to ensure comfortable movement.

The two air springs on each axle are mounted on top similar to the design of off-road trucks and other sprayers manufactured by John Deere. Fluctuations of each spring are extinguished oil-filled shock absorbers, which positively affects the smoothness of motion.

The connecting rods connect the bridge with a wide cast mounting feet that are attached to the frame of the C-shaped profile with Huck bolts. Thrust axle is parallel to the surface of the soil to damp a vertical wobble and have the intersection for lateral stability

The standard suspension of the R4023 sprayer features the move in of 152 mm in the area of the air springs. Air springs are under the frame, so suspension components don’t block the view on the processed rows.

Air springs are regulated by increasing or decreasing the amount of air coming through the standard vapor valve located at the top of each spring. If the sprayer is equipped with an automatic leveling air springs, air springs will receive the necessary amount of air for optimal movement.

The automatic levelling system of the air springs is standard equipment. This function maintains a constant height, and providing a course for 102 mm up and down from the mid-position, which in total is 203 mm. the Operator does not need to separately fill or deflate each pillow to transport, and saves up to 10 minutes of time. With the help of a switch located near the system load solution, it is possible to pull all four cushions simultaneously.After engine start on-Board air compressor will automatically fill the pillow with air to the optimum height.

High performance sprayers R4023 start with the frame. The frame design of the R4023 sprayer allows you to absorb bumps when driving on difficult sections.

The frame consists of two parallel solid C-shaped lateral spars, connected by a suspension cast parts, and reinforcing cross members. Crossmember attached to the frame using Huck bolts. Huck bolts combine the advantages of high strength bolts and rivets.

These fasteners provide better resistance to vibrations and guarantee neosupreme connection as opposed to standard bolts.

Frame and fasteners of these types are widely used in trucks and trailers.
