Liebherr Extends the Range of Heavy Lift Offshore Cranes

Liebherr Company has extended the range of heavy lift offshore cranes and the CAL 64000 – 15000 Litronic® comes with maximum lifting capacity of 15000 tons. This particular crane comes with boom length if 105 meters and the overall weight of this model is 1500 tons. One of the excellent features found in this model is slewing ring with diameter of 13m. The ring itself weighs more than 100 tons and is designed and manufactured as Crane around leg. Another good feature in this model is the twin boom designed which allows the boom to be parked and lowered over one vessels front legs. The weight and size of individual components and equipments of CAL 64000 – 15000 Litronic® needs the adaptation of Liebherr’s manufacturing plants at Liebherr MCCtec Rostock GmbH.

The approximate weight of CAL model of Liebherr Company is 1500 tons with the boom length of 105 meters which makes one of the innovative heavy lift cranes in the construction industry.
