The HydraCushion suspension system allows the operator to maintain a high level of performance, reducing vertical vibrations and rocking on the road. Reducing vertical oscillation ensures the transfer of more power to the ground and more comfortable ride for the operator.

The HydraCushion suspension system

The suspension system HydraCushion John Deere includes two system:

  • Hydraulic system
  • Electrical system

Hydraulic system

the Hydraulic system consists of suspension cylinders, manifold control valve, blocking, suspension and hydraulic accumulators.

  • The accumulators provide the energy absorption of the shocks that improves ride and increases the level of operator comfort.

Electrical system

the Electrical system consists of position sensors, solenoids for the control valves and control unit for fully automatic control of the suspension system HydraCushion.

How this system works?

The joint action of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems are intended to maintain the proper position of the box front differential in horizontal and vertical planes relative to the chassis of the tractor regardless of the weight of the tractor and the dynamic load on it. The ability of the system to maintain the proper position in the vertical plane allows to provide full suspension travel 10,16 cm This helps to ensure constant contact of the wheels with the ground and uniform tractive effort.In addition, the suspension absorbed the energy of the aftershocks, which improves the smoothness.

Brake system

The compatibility of the tires

ActiveSeat uses air suspension in conjunction with the electro-hydraulic system

John Deere ActiveSeat utilizes electrohydraulic technology in combination with air suspension providing better ride quality compared to standard seats on pneumatisch.

The movements of the operator are tracked to reduce the vertical displacements. During field work seat ActiveSeat allows to reduce the vertical movement of the operator, almost 90 percent..

The system employs a hydraulic cylinder connected to the valve block. Electro-hydraulic valves mounted on the node of the control valve will automatically respond to input signals from the two sensors, position sensor and accelerometer. The signals of these two sensors control the flow of oil from the hydraulic pump of the tractor to the hydraulic cylinder to reduce the vertical movement of the operator’s seat.

Seat ActiveSeat John Deere used many features of the ComfortCommand seat, which is complemented by more hardness regulator. The controller stiffness is located in the left armrest and is a replacement lever damping shock seat suspension on the right side of the front panel of the management bodies ComfortCommand.

The hardness regulator has three positions: plus, minus, and middle position. These three positions provide three levels of stiffness.

  • The position of the “plus” provides the highest level of stiffness. In this position, the operator feels the increasing influence of tractor movements (more coarse movement).
  • In the “minus” is a minimum rigidity at which the is minimal impact to the operator from displacement of the tractor that corresponds to the maximum level of comfort.
  • The middle position is a compromise between the settings “plus” (+) and minus (-).

System ActiveCommand steering (ACS™) provides a robust and comprehensive steering system

John Deere has developed one of the most robust and comprehensive steering system in the industry — ACS. In the field or on the road, ACS reduces effort required for steering, thus reducing operator fatigue and increase level of comfort and machine control.

Here are four key features of the ACS system:

Dynamic departure of the wheels on the road:
  • Gyro determines the heading angle of the tractor and automatically slightly adjusts steering to deliver an exceptional ability to keep the car on course. Take a drive down a bumpy road and check out how much easier it is using ACS to keep the tractor on course, even on rough terrain. ASC provides unparalleled comfort.
  • ACS prevents excessive understeer, when the front of the car suddenly an obstacle appears and the steering should quickly respond to the actions of the operator.
Steering with variable gear ratio:
  • Approximately 3.5 turn steering wheel from lock to lock at speeds of working in the field, allowing you to make a quick turn on the field.
  • Approximately 5 turns of the steering wheel from lock-to-lock at transport speeds, improving the ability to keep the car on course.
The ability to avoid deviation of the steering wheel:
  • Thanks to the electronic control system ACS it is possible to avoid deviation of the steering wheel.
Steering with variable force:
  • The steering wheel resistance automatically changes according to the running speed. Thus a little effort is required at lower speeds during turns in the field, and more torque steering at speeds of transport that provides comfort and facilitates the retention of the machine on the line chart.
A fault tolerant system

Monitor performance
Page performance monitoring

Application performance monitor provides the user with data about machine condition and current performance. Mode two displays

Display GS3 supports two displays with CommandCenter 4-th generation.

CommandCenter 4-th generation can be configured to work with the following GS3 2630 display John Deere, mounted on an angular stand:

All applications precision farming systems such as AutoTrac automatic steering system, the system section control Section Control and documentation system, you cannot use both displays simultaneously. When you install GS3 2630 display on a corner stand applications precision farming systems will be automatically disabled on the CommandCenter 4-th generation. The system for remote viewing of the display Remote Display Access (RDA) in a single session you can use either on the GS3 2630 display or on the CommandCenter 4-th generation.

Sharing activation between display GS3 2630 CommandCenter and the 4th generation is impossible. For applications AMS on the second secondary display GS3 263 will require separate activation.

Video

Tractors 4100 CommandCenter comes with one video input, and all the large tractors with CommandCenter 4600 — four video inputs. To activate the camera, the operator can configure various triggers, including reverse, PTO (PTO), hitch and sectional valves directional control valve (SCV). The image will appear on the CommandCenter. The camera (surveillance system) can be ordered through the parts catalog JD in the sales Department of agricultural and industrial products (A and I).

NOTE: Tractors 6R with the 4600 CommandCenter display has two video inputs.

Documentation of field borders

Creating field boundaries manually by using the CommandCenter 4th generation or import existing information on the borders with the GreenStar 3 (GS3) 2630 display or from the Center of operations of John Deere. Data documenting the CommandCenter 4th generation can be used to create borders on the basis of the treated area.
